Touching the Untouchable

Everything has to start somewhere and we believe this is the start of something wonderful!

If you are a thinker; if have a brain and you’re not afraid of using it; if you don’t just believe in things because everyone around you does, then you have certainly come to the right place.

We have thought about this for a very long time. Everyday we watch the news and/or read the paper only to hear or read things we both are appalled at and feel vehemently against. Through our deep discussions and often roaring laughter about how stupid we find so many of these so called experts, the idea of Thoughts Unfiltered came to life.

If it were a perfect world, we would have no problem putting our thoughts out there under our true names. We are, in fact, proud of our thoughts and beliefs. But it’s not a perfect world…we have to eat, make the mortgage and pay all the other bills but we’d never be able to survive if our employers found out about our quite different ways of thinking and personal belief systems.

A quick (but partial) rundown of some of the subjects we plan on discussing so that you can see if you really want to be here (and we really hope you do)…

Some our beliefs:

●Abortion is the right of every woman and men should keep their noses out of it;
●Marijuana should be legalized and taxed along with alcohol and tobacco;
●Marriage is the right of all citizens, straight AND gay, alike;
●All religion is bullshit but we give that it serves a purpose for those people who need something to believe in and to give their lives purpose;
●There is no god or gods (no God, no Mohammed, no Allah, none of them);
●America used to be a great country but it’s gone to hell in the past 25 years;
●Healthcare is the right of all citizens and socialized medicine is a GOOD idea that should be implemented asap;
●We will touch on every tough subject imaginable…if it’s considered a taboo conversation subject, we’ll discuss it.

This list is but a tiny touch of the beliefs we share and they all go much deeper than these one liners but we condensed them just to give you an idea of who we are and what we’re about here on Thoughts Unfiltered.

Whether you agree with us a little or a lot, or maybe you think we are totally full of shit, we hope you’ll follow along with us and share your thoughts along the way. Also, if you have a subject you’d like to see us share our thoughts on, leave a comment; we would love to spill our brains on your ideas.

Just beware, we really will be sharing our Thoughts…totally and completely Unfiltered!
